From quote to payout
Five steps to your money.
-
Step 01: Apply online
Tell us about your vehicle and your finances. A soft credit search with TransUnion gives you a personalised quote, with no effect on your credit score.
Online, 24/7
-
Step 02: Share your bank statements
Our underwriters email you an Open Banking link to share your last 60 days of statements securely, with no PDFs to download. Check your junk folder in case our email lands there.
Through Open Banking
-
Step 03: Speak to an underwriter and e-sign
An underwriter calls to make sure the loan is affordable. If they are happy to proceed, we email your agreement to read in your own time and sign electronically.
Usually within 2 working hours
-
Step 04: Bill of Sale appointment
For most loans a signing agent visits to witness the Bill of Sale. In Scotland you sign a Hire Purchase agreement online instead, with no visit needed.
Usually within 3 working hours
-
Step 05: Money sent to your bank
We confirm your payout details and send the money by online bank transfer. How quickly it reaches your account depends on your bank.
Depends on your bank
About our timings
You can apply online at any time. Our team works Monday to Friday 9:00 to 19:00, and is closed at weekends and on bank holidays, so timings are counted in those working hours. Once the money is sent, how quickly it reaches your account depends on your bank.
Timing questions
How quickly will I get the money?
The whole process is usually complete within 24 working hours. An underwriter usually calls within 2 working hours of your application. Once the Bill of Sale appointment is done, we send the money by bank transfer, and how quickly it reaches your account depends on your bank.
Will someone need to see my car?
Most of the process happens online and over the phone. For most loans a signing agent visits, usually within 3 working hours of approval, to witness the Bill of Sale and take a photo of you with the car for identity purposes. In Scotland you sign a Hire Purchase agreement online and send us the photos and documents instead, with no visit needed.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday 9:00 to 19:00. We are closed at weekends and on bank holidays. You can apply online at any time.
Will applying affect my credit score?
No. We run a soft credit search with TransUnion, which does not affect your credit score.
Borrowing responsibly. We only lend when the repayments are affordable for you, however quickly you need the money. Our service is not advised, so if you are worried about money you can get free, impartial help from MoneyHelper, StepChange or Citizens Advice.
Have these ready.
- Your vehicle registration and approximate mileage
- Your contact and employment details, and your monthly spending
- Access to your online banking, to share 60 days of statements through Open Banking
- Your bank details for the payout and a debit card for your repayments
